How far in advance should I book?
Rides are booked in advance. A few days' notice is best, and the summer season fills up, so book early for peak travel dates.
Can you handle very early flights?
Yes. Rides are available 24 hours a day, so 4 AM pickups for the first flights out of SMF are no problem.
What vehicle will I ride in?
A clean, comfortable 2017 Ford F-150 crew cab with plenty of room for suitcases, skis, golf bags and other gear.
How many passengers can ride?
The crew cab seats a small group comfortably. Text with your group size and luggage and you'll get a confirmed answer.
Do you pick up from SMF too?
Yes. Return trips home are available, and your flight is tracked so pickup adjusts if you're delayed.
When does service run?
The first season runs June through July 2027. Booking for Summer 2027 is open now.
Are you licensed and insured?
Foothill Flyer will be fully licensed and insured before the first ride. Commercial insurance and state charter-carrier licensing are being finalized for the 2027 season.
